Dear Castle Tri fans,
With the season drawing to a close and the nights drawing in, we look back on all our events over the past year and begin looking ahead at preparing for next season.
2019 has been a vintage year with us celebrating our 10-year anniversary at 3 out of 5 of our stunning castle venues. The Red Arrows even paid us a visit at Cholmondeley Castle back in June! The introduction of Duathlon, Aquathlon and Aquabike (standard and sprint) at all of our races has proved to be hugely popular and simultaneously operationally challenging!
We head into 2020 in a strong position having been awarded the ITU Duathlon Age-Group Qualifier at Hever in September and the Triathlon England Middle Distance Triathlon Championships in July. We’re also super proud to announce that The Castle Triathlon Series won Triathlon England North West Children’s event of the year 2019 for our Junior Series and look forward to next year’s events.
